Team USA, Martin Finish Fifth

The U.S. National Team recently competed in a World Cup Qualifier in Argentina.

Martin scored a goal against Belgium and helped Team USA beat Chile on Sunday, 2-1.

Martin With Team USA in Argentina

Duke assistant coach Jarred Martin will be with the U.S. National Team in Quilmes, Argentina for World Cup Qualifiers from Nov. 14-22.

Halftime: Duke 1, UVa 2

Duke scored off a penalty corner in the 15th minute, but UVa responded with two goals on corners to take the 2-1 lead into halftime. Abby Hassinger had the goal for Duke, her third of the year.

Arrived in Charlottesville

The team is back on the Virginia turf on their schduled practice time. It is a little cloudy and overcast, but not bad for a November afternoon.

We will head to the team hotel later and then get ready for No. 3 Virginia tomorrow at 3:30 p.m.

ACC Tournament Central

Duke is the sixth seed in the ACC Tournament and will play No. 3 Virginia on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.
